North Cobb plans to debut new addition

North Cobb High School will host a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new ninth-grade academy at 9 a.m. Aug. 11. The 40 classroom, $13.4 million addition and renovation features a separate facility for incoming freshman and updates to the main campus. Freshman orientation will be held the same day from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Information: www.cobbk12.org/NorthCobb
