Norcross will host a town hall meeting Tuesday night to talk about local government and terms of political office.

The agenda will feature Mayor Bucky Johnson's State of the City address and an educational forum on two-year vs. four-year terms of office for the Norcross City Council.

For more than a year, city leaders have weighed the move to four-tear terms, citing election costs and a lack of cohesion associated with two-year terms. Norcross is one of fewer than 50 cities statewide that operate on two-year terms.

The meeting will be from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the Cultural Arts and Community Center, 10 College St.
