Norcross has chosen the Sizemore Group, LLC to conduct an in-depth study and develop a plan for the Buford Highway Corridor. The $91,000 contract is funded by the Electric Fund as an Economic Development Contribution.

Buford Highway/Ga. 23 is a regional transportation route. The 1.85 linear miles within Norcross handles roughly 30,000 average daily trips and serves as a prominent gateway into the city. It is also a target area for reinvestment and future growth in the city’s 2040 Imagine Our Future Comprehensive Plan.

According to city documents, “the master plan must meet the needs of the present generation without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs and must be sustainable.”
