Norcross residents with bee-friendly yards, can register their gardens and receive a “Bee City USA Pollinator-Friendly Garden” sign from Pollinate Norcross.

Yards that are friendly to bees and other pollinators use plants that provide nectar and pollen sources, provide a water source, bloom throughout the growing season, include native or non-invasive flowering plants, and eliminate or minimize the impact of pesticides, including mosquito spraying.

To participate and receive a yard sign register your garden with Pollinator Partnership at www.millionpollinatorgardens.org. Then email beecityusa.norcross@gmail.com to receive your free sign. If registered during Pollinator Week, June 22 - 28, Pollinate Norcross will also drop off a free kid's activity booklet.

Pollinator Partnership is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting “the health of pollinators, critical to food and ecosystems, through conservation, education, and research.”
