Norcross residents can now review the complete draft of the proposed Norcross Unified Development Ordinance which combines zoning, land development and other regulations. The purpose of the proposed UDO is to update and improve the legibility of the current zoning ordinance, development regulations and other regulations for how property is developed.

The UDO will also reflect best practices in development and encourage sustainability. By bringing them together, the city will eliminate inconsistencies in the code and streamline the development approvals process by using a single, clear set of required permits, processes, language, and definition.

Review the ordinance at www.imagineourfuture.org along with a copy of the proposed new zoning map.
