The Norcross City Council gave approval recently for the Norcross Police Department to sell four vehicles from the fleet that are considered unsafe for police use due to high mileage and/or poor mechanical condition. The vehicles being sold include a 2009 Dodge Charger with 116,932 miles, a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado K150 truck with 113,245 miles, a 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe with 103,860 miles, and a 2006 Ford Expedition with 134,311 miles.

The Police Department also has numerous old handheld and in-car radios that have been replaced with new technology. These will also be sold as surplus parts to other agencies.
