The Norcross City Council, Mayor Craig Newton and the Norcross Veterans Committee will conduct a ribbon cutting ceremony at the city’s newest park at 10 a.m. Oct. 10 at the intersection of South Peachtree Street and North Norcross Tucker Road. Veterans Park, a quaint, pocket park has been designed to honor veterans representing all branches of the United States armed services.

Norcross veterans overseeing the project have designed this park as a place of solace and reflection for fellow veterans.

Parking for the ribbon cutting will be available at Flint Hill, 539 South Peachtree St.
