Norcross Mayor Bucky Johnson will host the State of the City Address 7 p.m. Monday at Summerour Middle School, 321 Price Place NW.

He will discuss past successes along with his vision for the direction of the city.

“Whether you are a lifetime resident, a longtime resident or a newcomer, the State of the City Address presents a wonderful opportunity to learn more about your city. We encourage all citizens to be knowledgeable and involved,” said Mayor Johnson.

The mayor will also give updates on city departments and projects as well as recognize the outstanding achievements of several individuals from the past year. Following the approximately one hour address, residents are invited to join city leaders for dessert and coffee.
