Norcross was awarded a Transportation Enhancement Grant for Pedestrian Connectivity sidewalks at various locations around Norcross. The project is now ready to go to bid for construction and receive federal matching funds. At the city’s most recent meeting, the City Council agreed to enter into an agreement with the Georgia Department of Transportation to move forward on the project.

The $124,597 federal grant will be used for construction of sidewalks in four locations including Britt Avenue near Bostic St., West Peachtree St. near Jimmy Carter Boulevard, Pinnacle Way at Beaver Ruin Road, and Reps Miller Road at Peachtree Industrial Boulevard.
