The Norcross City Council voted recently to create a Discovery Garden Park board of directors. The five-member board will manage the Norcross Discovery Garden Park to cultivate a growing, creative environment, and promote continuous growth and development of the park. They will be tasked with seeking funding from donations and public grants, and review and make recommendations to the city for the funding and design of the park.

The board will also be responsible for organizing and making recommendations for events, and prepare a “Master Discovery Garden Park Plan” for approval by the mayor and council after receiving public comment.
