A three-minute video explaining Fayette County’s new social hosting ordinance has been posted on YouTube. Nonprofits AVPRIDE and Fayette FACTOR helped produce the segment, which depicts actors portraying parents talking about the pitfalls of allowing minors to drink alcohol at home parties.

Law enforcement leaders from the county, Peachtree City, Fayetteville and Tyrone explain the legal consequences for adults who permit underage drinking, even if the homeowners don’t actually provide the alcohol.
