New university system chancellor makes SPSU visit

Oct 19, 2011Henry “Hank” Huckaby, the University System of Georgia’s new chancellor, will visit Southern Polytechnic State University for the first time on Thursday.
Huckaby, a former state legislator, was selected in May by the Board of Regents as the system’s 12th chancellor.
His visit to SPSU will include a meeting with faculty and staff followed by a question-and-answer session at 4 p.m. in the Student Center Ballroom.
