The Henry County Tax Commissioner’s Office has opened a kiosk at the Kroger supermarket on Fairview Road in Ellenwood for residents to renew car registrations. It is the first such device in the state to be placed in a retail location and be available at all hours the store is open.

The kiosks offer the user the ability to enter the tag number, VIN or driver’s license number to retrieve registration, then provide instructions to renew the registration and offer the taxpayer the option to pay with a credit or debit card. Upon approval, the renewed registration will print out, including the new sticker, which can be placed immediately on the vehicle.
