The first new Taco Mac in three years will be opened in Lawrenceville, the Atlanta-based chain announced.

The restaurant is planned for 835 Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road, where an Olde Towne Tavern and Grille used to be. The company expects its latest location to open in early 2020, according to a press release.

The space is being revamped to reflect Taco Mac’s “roots:” sports and beer, according to the release. The restaurant chain is known for a wide selection of beer, tasty Buffalo wings and screens playing sports visible from nearly every guest vantage point.

This will be the fifth Taco Mac location in Gwinnett County. The company currently has two restaurants in Suwanee, one in Buford and one in Duluth.

“We have been looking at the Lawrenceville market for a long time and made it a priority to find the best site to offer our fans in Lawrenceville their own neighborhood restaurant with quality food, family fun and sports viewing,” CEO Harold Martin, Jr. said in a press release.
