New streetlights going up in McDonough

City officials in McDonough have announced that 13 additional streetlights will be installed on the south side of the square in the coming weeks. They will be placed on existing poles along Griffin and Macon streets. A Georgia Power official stated that installation should be completed by mid-August. Parking spaces along both streets where the lights are installed will be restriped perpendicular to the sidewalks.
