The city of Doraville is beginning to install new speed reduction signs on Chestnut Road, Tilly Mill Road and Oakcliff Road reducing the speed limit from 35 mph to 25 mph. This effort is the result of Doraville City Council action taken in response to safety concerns expressed by residents.

These highly-traveled corridors are located next to or near public schools and lowering the speed limit is a further safety effort, coming in tandem with the recent installation of speed bumps and other traffic calming devices.

City officials urge motorists to please follow the law and lower speeds when driving along these roads.
