New sidewalks planned for two areas of Peachtree Corners
The Peachtree Corners Public Works Department is managing the survey, design and construction of two new sidewalk links on Winters Chapel Road and Technology Parkway.
The Winters Chapel project will install sidewalks along the north side of the road from Peachtree Industrial Boulevard to Winterbrook Court. Construction should be underway by late summer.
The Technology Parkway sidewalk project will add connections in the gaps on both sides of the road from Peachtree Parkway to Westech Drive. The project survey is underway, with construction to begin in the fall.
Both projects are funded through the Georgia Department of Transportation, as part of their Local Maintenance Improvement Grant Program.
