Gwinnett commissioners recently approved a $210,467 contract to replace the roof at Fire Station 23 at 4355 Steve Reynolds Blvd. in Norcross. Roof Management, Inc. was the lowest of five bidders for the project.

The project includes the removal and replacement of the existing standing seam metal roof system.

Gwinnett County Fire and Emergency Services manage 31 fire stations. All emergency vehicles including fire trucks and engines are staffed with personnel who are trained to assist with both fire and medical emergencies. Vehicles are also staffed with paramedics, in addition to EMTs, in order to provide the highest level of medical assistance.
