Georgia is getting three new outposts of a restaurant chain that specializes in chicken salad by April.

Chicken Salad Chick announced Wednesday that it will be opening locations in Vinings, Cumming and Evans.

The franchise didn’t reveal when the Vinings restaurant would open but said it would be located at 2810 Paces Ferry Road.

According to the company's website, there are already about 20 locations in Georgia, including one in Marietta and another in Kennesaw.

The chain — based in Auburn, Alabama — serves not only chicken salad but green, leafy salads and pimento cheese, too.

“The outpouring of enthusiasm we have seen for these new locations is a tribute to why we eagerly continue to serve such a loyal fan base with deliciously fresh food and genuine Southern hospitality,” said Darren DeVore, managing partner of the franchise group.

The openings will make 81 stores. The franchise stretches from Greensboro, North Carolina, to the Dallas-Fort Worth area and down to Bradenton, Florida.
