Gwinnett commissioners approved $242,000 Tuesday for the replacement of pool ducts at the Mountain Park Aquatic Center, 1063 Rockbridge Road in Stone Mountain.

The project includes demolition and removal of existing fabric ducts and replacement with double-wall aluminum ducts in a new configuration over the indoor competition pool and instructional pool. This contract is funded by the 2014 SPLOST program.

The Mountain Park aquatic center includes an indoor 25-yard by 25-meter competition/lap pool with 500-seat spectator area. The indoor instructional pool is open year round.
