The newly formed “Mountain Park Community,” consisting of the Mountain Park residential area at Rockbridge and Five Forks Trickum roads, including the entire Parkview School District, will meet 7 to 9 p.m. Feb. 13 at the Mountain Park Aquatic Center Activity Building, 1063 Rockbridge Rd SW in Stone Mountain. The topic of this public meeting will be transportation.

Transportations issues were a major topic at the first community meeting in November. Alan Chapman, Director of the Gwinnett Department of Transportation, will speak at the Feb. 13 meeting about plans and projects affecting the area.

The public is encouraged to attend, ask questions and bring up issues of concern including streets, lighting, traffic, sidewalks, and roundabouts. Commissioner Ben Ku will also attend to address questions unrelated to transportation.
