The Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System will hold a grand opening for the new East Roswell Library, 11 a.m. Feb. 20 at 2301 Holcomb Bridge Road.

The new 15,000-square-foot facility will hold a collection of up to 50,0000 materials including books, audio books and CDs. It will feature meeting and study rooms and separate spaces for teens and children, and will be open seven days a week.

The new branch is part of phase 1 of the Library Building Program made possible by passage of a November 2008 bond referendum. Also planned are new north side branches in Alpharetta and Milton, which are currently under construction
