The Walker School in Marietta officially has a new head of school: Jack Hall assumed the post this summer, succeeding former Headmaster Don Robertson who retired after 26 years. Hall previously served as head of the Augusta Preparatory Day School from 1999 to 2011. He's worked in a variety of independent schools including The Westminster Schools and The Lovett School, and served as president of the Georgia Independent School Association. Walker has about 1,000 students in grades prekindergarten through 12th.
