Suwanee has been busy, busy, busy.

The city took to Facebook to announce multiple projects ranging from the small, such as new wayfinding signage, to the huge, such as the development of Suwanee's next park.

The post confirmed rumors about a 60-foot dock for Sims Lake Park, which will be on the southeastern portion of the lake and will lead to a covered dock with benches. Two things to note: Construction on the walkway will tentatively begin in October, and fishing and watercrafts will continue to be banned upon completion. (Sorry, boaters.)

Also announced were new sidewalks for both Smithtown Road and Suwanee Dam Road, the latter of which should make the walk to North Gwinnett High School easier. Construction is planned for this winter.

Apparently, the list of cool Suwanee things to anticipate just keeps growing.
