May 30, 2012

Petroleum products carrier Colonial Pipeline opened its new building at the Cobb Safety Village on Wednesday featuring a model gasoline storage tank designed to teach underground pipeline safety and “call before you dig” information.

The company paid the Safety Village Foundation $25,000 for the site and invested more than $200,000 in the building. Cobb’s Safety Village in Marietta  is a two-part safety education site that teaches children fire, pedestrian, driver and practical safety techniques in a model home and city.
