New Birth Missionary Baptist Church is hosting a free fall-themed festival Tuesday evening, offering family fun and food.
From 6 to 9 p.m., the DeKalb County megachurch’s “Harvest Fire Festival” will feature hayrides, bounce houses, face painting, “trunk or treat” candy giveaways and more.

The event will also have live music and various food trucks. It is open to the Stonecrest community.
"This is New Birth's annual event to celebrate and commemorate family, community and fellowship," Senior Pastor Jamal H. Bryant said in a statement. "The church has to be intentional about connecting with our neighbors and cultivating a sense of community that goes beyond the four walls of this church.”

New Birth is located at 6400 Woodrow Road in Stonecrest.
