Nestle recently notified the Georgia Department of Labor of plans to close a distribution center at 2410 Tech Center Parkway in Lawrenceville. The permanent closure of the facility will affect 111 employees. A little over half of the employees losing their jobs are part of the Nestle Retail Sales Workforce and about 52 employees are employed by the Nestle Deep Frozen Supply Chain division.

According to documents filed with the state, employees will begin separation from the company Oct. 18 with final employees released by the end of the year.
