Jack White, president of the The Virginia-Highland Civic Association, said the group has set aside $20,000 to challenge a controversial school redistricting. The money could be used to take legal action against Atlanta Public Schools, if necessary. But White said the neighborhood is hoping to resolve the conflict before that happens. The group has objections about the proposed new boundaries, and the way the process is moving forward. APS plans to hold another series of community meetings on the issue later this month.
