New luxury townhomes are coming to DeKalb next year with prices nearing $500,000.

Construction on the Townsend at Brookhaven is expected to begin in 2019, and buyers hoping to snag a property can purchase them through the developer, Taylor Morrison.

The 47 luxury homes, just minutes away from the Town Brookhaven shopping plaza, are selling for between $457,000 and $489,000.

The pricey 2,213 square-foot brick dwellings will feature an open-concept design with up to four bedrooms and a gourmet kitchen.

Residents will also be treated to a community fire pit and a pool with a cabana.

Brookhaven's population was about 53,518 residents last year, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
