After being closed for more than a year, the National Museum of Patriotism will re-open on Sunday in its new downtown Atlanta location. Here, Matt McCoy, left, and Robin Jumper, right, put the finishing touches on the Symbols of America display.

The museum is located at 275 Baker St., near several other museums and tourist attractions such as the Georgia Aquarium and children's museum. Here, Michael Hampton works to set up a first responder display as 23-foot-tall replica of the Statue of Liberty torch, which is part of the Immigrant Experience exhibit, towers in the background.

The museum estimates it could have up to 500,000 visitors a year. Alva Rivera cleans a 9-11 commemorative "Not Forgotten" Harley Davidson Road King motorcycle.

Terry Moody, an exhibit fabricator, works to complete the Hall of Patriots display.

Plenty of presidential items are available in the Independence Hall souvenier shop at the museum.
