A Fulton County grand jury has indicted the man accused of gunning down two men as they attempted to repossess his car.

Justin Moore, 30, is accused of killing 27-year-old Brandon Thomas in the November incident, which happened in south Fulton. Thomas, 27, of Kennesaw, was shot in the chest. Another man, Willie Thackston, was seriously wounded but survived.

After shooting the two men, Moore allegedly fled the scene in the gray 2004 Ford Mustang that was to be repossessed. Fulton County police chased Moore into Clayton County, but backed off when Moore's speed hit 150 mph. He was found several days later in DeKalb County.

Moore has said he thought the two men were stealing his car at a home on Milam Loop, in the southern end of Fulton County near the Fayette County line and chased them down to recover it.

Police say he was $1,300 behind in his car payments and the two victims were there to legally repossess it.

Moore's case will now be assigned to a Fulton County Superior Court judge. In addition to a felony murder charge, Moore faces two counts each of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and theft by receiving. He is also charged with fleeing and eluding police.
