Movies in the Park series to start Saturday
Three parks in Atlanta will turn into outdoor movie theaters this summer as part of the Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs' "Movies in the Park" series.
On May 14, “The Karate Kid” will be shown at Pittman Park, 950 Garibaldi Street, S.E.
On May 19, “Despicable Me,” will come to Sunken Garden, 1000 E. Rock Springs Road, N.E.
And on May 21, “Shrek: The Final Chapter,” will open at Howell Park, 983 Ralph David Abernathy Blvd., S.W.
All of the movies start at 8 p.m.
