Moviemakers will transform downtown Norcross into a Southern California beach town this week. South Peachtree Street between Jones Street and Holcomb Bridge Road will be closed for film making 9 a.m. until approximately 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Restaurants and retailers will remain open for business. Parking will be available at city hall, in the employee parking lot adjacent to city hall and at all other locations not along the closed street section.

The independent film production company will have security on hand to redirect traffic and assure safety of the actors, crew, equipment and surrounding businesses.

Drivers are asked to seek alternate routes to avoid the road closure.
