Marietta police worked Monday to determine who shot and killed a 28-year-old man and why.

Officers arrived at the Westbury Park Apartments in the 1200 block of Franklin Road around 2:40 p.m. Sunday to investigate a report of shots being fired, Officer Michael Gardner said.

At Building C in the complex, officers found the body of Reginald Gibson, just inside the door of an apartment, Gardner said.

Investigators have not yet identified a suspect or motive in the killing, Gardner said Monday.

Anyone with any information about the crime is asked to contact Detective Chris Lindsey at 770-794-5369 or the Marietta police tip line at 770-794-6990.
