This is the time for hot weather, graduation ceremonies and of course...Mother’s Day!

While many may have already planned the perfect relaxing weekend for mom, for those who have yet to decide what to do, these are just a few fun things going on this Mother’s Day weekend in Gwinnett.

Loganville Carnival. 5 p.m.-11 p.m. Friday; 2 p.m.-11 p.m. Saturday; 1 p.m.-10 p.m. Sunday, May 11-13. Loganville City Hall, 4303 Lawrenceville Road, Loganville. 770-466-1165. www.events.exploregwinnett.org.

Loganville City Hall will transform into a carnival of fun all weekend with full-sized rides, games and food.

Braselton Beach Bash. 3 p.m.-10 p.m. Saturday, May 12. Free. Braselton Park. 126 Harrison St., Braselton. 706-684-0369. www.events.exploregwinnett.org. 

Get ready for a day at the beach without leaving town this Saturday at the Braselton Beach Bash. Along with tons of sand, guests will enjoy live music, food trucks and giveaways.

Mother's Day Half Marathon, 10K and 5K. 7:30 a.m. Sunday, May 13. $30-$55 per racer, free to watch. Bay Creek Park, 175 Ozora Road, Loganville. www.deborahmontgomeryracing.com.

Get fit with mom this Mother's Day with a half marathon, 10K or 5K, that takes you through Bay Creek Park. All finishers receive medals.

Music On Main Street Mother's Day Potluck. 4 p.m. Sunday, May 13. $15 per person, free for moms and children ages 12 and under. Music on Main Street. 113 Main St. NW, Lilburn.

Enjoy live music, art vendors and a $5 all-you-can-eat dinner with friends at this special Mother's Day Potluck hosted by Music on Main Street.
