Two people were shot inside a DeKalb County motel Monday morning.
A male and a female were shot through a motel room door at the Master’s Inn on Presidential Parkway just after 9 a.m., said DeKalb County Police spokeswoman Mekka Parish.
Both victims were hit in the leg and taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
The suspect fled the scene. Police are trying to determine the suspect’s motive, Parish said, and believe this was not a random incident.
