Morris Brown College will graduate 22 students during the school's May 15 commencement ceremony, college officials said this week.

The historically black school was founded in 1881, but the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools revoked the institution’s accreditation about seven years ago citing gross financial mismanagement.

Since then the college has struggled financially and its enrollment plunged to about 120 students this academic year. Still, students continue to enroll and graduate from the Atlanta college.

Graduation will be held at the John Henry Lewis Recreation Complex and businessman Michael Roberts, chairman and CEO of The Roberts Companies, will serve as the commencement speaker.
