At least 30 cars were broken into overnight in south Buckhead.

Atlanta police spokeswoman Kim Jones said more than 30 cars were broken into at Lenox Heights apartments, located on Pine Heights Drive. One car was stolen.

Jones said the burglaries occurred at about 2 a.m. Sunday.

Nearby apartments were also hit, including some in gated communities.

Police did not have a total number of victims in the area, but residents at other apartments -- Armour Heights and Overlook at Lindbergh -- also reported multiple break-ins.

GPS units and MP3 players were commonly reported missing items.
