More than 21K turn out for early voting in north Fulton County

As the first week of early voting in Fulton County wraps up, election officials say they like the momentum they’re seeing.

Unofficial results show that more than 54,000 people across Fulton County have participated in early voting as of Thursday evening.

In the north Fulton area, 21,233 voters have cast ballots since early voting began Monday.

The first day caused some headaches for north Fulton voters, who reported waiting in line for up to 30 minutes.
Here's a breakdown of how each north Fulton's turnout so far:

Registrations and election director Richard Barron said he was pleased with the early voting numbers.

“It is our hope that our residents will continue to take advantage of the many locations, extended hours and weekends they have for early voting,” Barron said.
