Construction partners of the Georgia Department of Transportation this week will close lanes and ramps and pace traffic on Ga. 400 and I-285 in the top-end Perimeter area of North Fulton and DeKalb counties.

The work, part of the ongoing reconstruction of the Ga. 400/I-285 interchange, is "weather permitting" and subject to change, GDOT said. Information: https://bit.ly/2jfU8S7

From 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday-Friday, closures are planned for two right lanes of eastbound I-285 from Glenridge Drive to Ga. 400, and for the ramp from northbound Ga. 400 to eastbound I-285.

During the same hours Friday-Sunday, the ramp from Glenridge to westbound I-285 is to be closed.

GDOT also advises that from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., traffic pacing will occur periodically on all ramps from I-285 to Ga. 400 for supply deliveries and construction. Ramp lane width also may be reduced to let construction vehicles enter and exit the work zone.
