Peachtree City is closing its municipal offices and library to the public through March 29, and has canceled the March 19 City Council meeting; the next regular meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on April 2.

All library programs and meetings have been canceled through April 30. Users can keep all loaned materials “for the time being” and are asked not to use the outdoor book return box. Library fines will be waived during the closure. Digital materials are available at www.peachtree-city.org/1142/Ebooks-Audiobooks-and-Magazines. The city has also canceled all events on city property (such as Drake Field) through April 30. Alerts related to the coronavirus outbreak will be posted at the top of the city’s website, www.peachtree-city.org. Fayette County’s State Court will hold only emergency sessions until April 14, but employees are still answering phones and emails, and motions are being reviewed.

Court questions can be directed to 770-716-4270 or online at www.fayettecountyga.gov/courts/state_court/index.htm.
