Every direction of I-285 and Ga. 400 will be subject to lane closures during the overnight hours this week for the ongoing interchange reconstruction in the Perimeter area of North Fulton and DeKalb counties.

The closures are “weather permitting” and will accommodate roadway, noise barrier and bridge construction and other work. “Travel restrictions include possible delays, reduced speeds and detours in some areas,” the Georgia Department of Transportation said.

Also, daytime flagging is planned from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday-Sunday, on Glenridge Drive and Ashford Dunwoody Road to their respective ramps to westbound I-285.

Closures are planned from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday overnight for two right lanes of westbound I-285 from Chamblee Dunwoody to Ashford Dunwoody roads; the same hours Tuesday-Saturday for the southbound Ga. 400 ramp to westbound I-285; and from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Thursday overnight for the Ashford Dunwoody ramp to westbound I-285.
