Missing Sandy Springs man found in Memphis

Sandy Springs police have canceled the "Mattie's Call" alert for a man who went missing last Friday.

Lt. Steve Rose said Huntley Macleod McConnel, 37, who suffers from paranoid schizophrenia, was found in Memphis. He is waiting there for his family to take him back home, Rose said.

The alert was issued because McConnel's family felt he could potentially harm himself or others.
