A missing mentally disabled Newton County man was found safe Wednesday afternoon after being missing from his group home since Monday.

Harry Preston Galanty, 54, who authorities said has several mental health disorders, walked away from the home on Fairview Road sometime after 8 a.m. Monday.

He was located by Newton County Sheriff's Office investigators around 4:15 Wednesday. He is all right and has been admitted to a local hospital, 1st Lt. Mark Mitchell said.
