A mentally ill man who ran naked out of his home on Tall Deer Drive into nearby woods was found on Thursday.

Fairburn police had issued a Mattie's Call for the 23-year-old man.

"At about 7:30 a.m., he ran out of the house completely naked and ran into the woods near his home," said police spokesman Sgt. Anthony Bazydlo. The house is in a subdivision off West Campbellton Street, he said.

The man was spotted by the pastor of a nearby church who convinced him to come inside and call for help.
