Missing man returns to assisted living center

A 70-year-old Cobb County man who walked away from an assisted living facility Thursday afternoon walked back into the home later in the day.

Leroy Bowden walked away from the Harold Avenue Personal Care home, near Smyrna, and was reported missing around 3 p.m., Sgt. Dana Pierce with Cobb County police said.

Shortly after 5:30 p.m., Bowden walked back into the facility, Pierce said. He was unharmed.
