South Forsyth's forthcoming mixed-use community of residences, retail and offices has signed its first tenant.

Halcyon plans to welcome the first metro Atlanta location of cinema chain CMX, Forsyth's only dine-in theater,  Atlanta-based real estate firm RocaPoint Partners announced this week.

The 10-screen, 38,000-square-foot theater with about 500 recliners should open in April 2018. It will offer "full-service gourmet in-seat dining and an exceptional assortment of wines, as well as handcrafted cocktails made-to-order by a top mixologist," according the news release.

“This particular chain gives us the entertainment venue we wanted," said Patrick Leonard, principal of RocaPoint Partners. "The plush viewing rooms offer moviegoers the cozy feeling of watching a film with friends, the luxury of having a full wait staff and gourmet dining options."
