City officials in Milton plan to decide two zoning/land-use cases later this month.

The Milton City Council is set to decide on a school rezoning case during its meeting at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19, at Milton City Hall, 13000 Deerfield Road. Wisdarium LLC, doing business as Red Apple Montessori School, wants to rezone from O-I (office institutional) and AG-1 (agricultural) to O-I and seeks a use permit. Wisdarium wants to expand the existing school from 2,000 to 8,000 square feet for up to 150 students.

Also, the Milton Planning Commission will consider a proposal from Bethany’s Rest, 13650 Bethany Road. It is requesting a use permit to operate a retreat in existing AG-1 zoning on nearly 27 acres, using existing buildings. The commission will meet at 7 p.m. Oct. 28, at City Hall to weigh in on that matter.
