Milton residents are being asked to take part in the city’s 5-year comprehensive plan update by attending an open house 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the council chambers at Milton City Hall, 13000 Deerfield Parkway.

City staffers and Atlanta Regional Commission members will be on hand to talk about land use, green space prioritization and other factors that could play into Milton’s future out to the year 2035.

Milton adopted its 2030 comprehensive plan in 2011 and state and regional officials require the document be updated everu five years. A series of workshops will lead up to establishment of the 2035 plan by late summer in conjunction with the ARC.
