The city of Milton is seeking applicants for a summer Comprehensive Internship Program that promises to give participants “a far-reaching look at city government.”
An intern’s duties may include research, acting as a liaison for the city, creating public presentations, assisting with city events or programs, and administrative work, according to a city announcement.
Internships begin in early June and go for 10 weeks. Interns will be paid $15 an hour and are expected to work 15 to 20 hours a week. They must be at least 18 years old, college students or recent high school graduates, with work or volunteer experience and proficient in Microsoft Office.
